Problem & Solution
The San Francisco 49ers approached Cordon Media to design and maintain a comprehensive multi-component campaign for the opening of their new Santa Clara stadium. Cordon Media provided a Touchwall Presentation, a Touchscreen Wayfinding Interactive Project and most importantly an iPad Sales Tool (with a mirroring Flash Microsite & HTML5 Mobile Site). The result provides an interactive experience for potential Club Seat holders that couldn’t be achieved or visualized with traditional print collateral. The success of this sales centre was possible through intimate understanding of the 49ers brand and our integration of high-end technology.
HP Interactive Wall
An interactive Touchwall was created for the new 49ers stadium. Presented on a 9 foot wide HP Touchwall and HP Touchpad, the sales team would be able to compare old and new stadium with presentation of new images, suite renderings and available amenities.
The interactive touchwall was integrated with the Crestron API. The result was the world’s first app solution synchro- nized with the sales environment via a complex Crestron API, allowing sales representatives to individually light up suites in the 3D model stadium directly from the HP Touchwall.
The wayfinding application features a series of maps showing major highway access points, new parking areas, travel time/distance to and from the new 49ers Stadium.
The iPad presentation mobilizes the sales team, allowing them to entice new leads where ever they go. One of the main features is the dynamically updated interactive map, allowing the client to see beautiful seat view renderings from currently available club seats. With the use of electronic signatures, we eliminated paperwork and allowed the purchase agreement signing to occur during the sales pitch.
Using Adobe Flex we developed a Flash Microsite with the same functionality as the app to be used on 42 inch screens in the sales center.
Mobile Web Application
The Sales Tool was also transformed into a Mobile Web App using HTML5 in order to give users the ability to experience the presentation from their tablets without a sales representative.
